Favorite Disney Movies, Volume 1.

My childhood heavily consisted of the Disney classics, and yes I still love them.  I have no shame.  When you think about it though, how weird would these movies be if they weren't cartoons?

The Lion King is at least in my top 3.  It's pretty heavy for a children's movie since the main plot consists of a brother murdering his sibling as well as the attempted manslaughter of his nephew.  Not to mention the hyenas devouring the villain in the end.  My children will love this movie, otherwise we're going to have problems.

I hate mice..but I love these ones!  Bianca and Bernard are part of the Rescue Aid Society, which is a group of mice who help children in trouble.  In this movie, the mice help save an orphan named Penny from the complete bitch and her two pet alligators with whom she lives with in a strange boat house on a swamp.  The woman forces Penny to go down in a creepy cave in order to find a very valuable jewel on a daily basis.  Why couldn't these mice come into my room instead of the disgusting kind who only visit in search of food?

Snow White is my favorite Disney princess!  In this movie, Snow White is forced to run away from the castle she lives in with her wicked step-mother, who is trying to have her killed in order to be the fairest in the land.  (Disney movies always have some kind of felony involved).  Snow White befriends the animals in the forest as well as seven dwarves who's home she breaks into and cleans.  All is going well until the queen discovers that Snow White is actually alive; she then turns herself into an ugly old hag and tricks Snow White into eating a poisoned apple.  In the end, a kiss from Prince Charming awakens her and of course, they live happily ever after.

Want a woman to fall in love with you?  Imprison her and be a complete dick.  At least, that's what happens at first in this movie, until the beast learns to be a better person.
